ING. CARLOS E. LÓPEZ MORA
FOUNDER & CEO OF ECG
He began his career at a venture capital firm, evaluating companies and investment projects. As an Operations Manager in a factory, he gained hands-on experience in Lean production and Kanban. He has led key projects in reengineering, digital transformation, and change management in Guatemala, Central America, and Mexico, working with international consulting firms such as GBM, PWC, and EY, where he served as Consulting Director. He has experience in the real estate, finance, and service industries, and has lectured at prestigious universities. Since founding ECG – Evolution Consulting Group, he has advised leading business groups across the region.
ECG was founded in May 2008, offering world-class services in Central America by leveraging local talent and helping regional companies become more innovative, productive, and strategic. In 2011, ECG expanded its operations to Mexico, strengthening ties between Mexico and Central America. ECG is a leader in Project Management, collaborating with the PMI chapter in Guatemala and having trained over 500 professionals in PMI standards in both Mexico and Central America. Today, ECG operates with 5 divisions: Better Business, People, Services, Tools, and Learning Center.
